The Redeemer Royals Badminton team continued their preparation for the Regional and Provincial Championships as they attended the Centennial College Invitational this past weekend.
This was a good warm-up tournament for all the teams after a long exam and
Christmas break, and an opportunity for players to knock the rust out. The Royals started a little slowly during the event but gradually picked up their games to come home with two event wins and another event final. The tournament was organized with the main draw being the 'B' event, a 'C' event for those who won their first match but lost their second, and a 'D' event for those who lost their first match.
The Results for Redeemer were as follows:

Randall Brus - 3 wins, 1 loss, 'B' event Quarterfinals
Stephen Bowler - 2 wins, 2 losses
Andrew Lucking - 1 win, 2 losses
