Royals Endowment Fund
Athletic participation can be one of the greatest and most memeroable parts of a student’s experience at university. The sense of community around the Royals is an enjoyable aspect of life for all students and contributes to relationship building and a sense of ownership in this institution.
As we make plans for the future, we envision athletic programs that deliver everything we hope for in our vision. We continue to push for improving the development of our student-athletes both within the sport as well as through their personal development and growth. These learned skills help bring glory to God in many ways both now and in the future as these students move on to vocations in which they serve others and our Lord. Our athletes are tomorrow’s community leaders, and a gift to this fund will play a significant role in helping to shape and prepare them for a lifetime of service, success, and contribution.
We want nothing more than to be able to continue to offer excellent Athletic programs for all students, with the resources to keep making necessary improvements as time goes on as well as maintaining or increasing our ability to keeping the investment in Redeemer’s education in line with the value that it delivers.
And that requires investment – our constant investment of our energy and resources, as well as the investment of our supporting community to create long-term sustainability for every aspect of our program delivery. The Royals Endowment Fund seeks to fund annual scholarships and bursaries for our varsity athletes, keeping tuition at an affordable and attractive level for our future students.
One of the best parts of this kind of fund is that it is the collective efforts of many that together produce a result that would not be possible for individuals on their own. This is an example of the Redeemer community serving the Redeemer community and making it stronger. Every gift is a valuable and significant contribution to this community.

Named Scholarships & Bursaries
Delivering all of the benefits described in the Royals Endowment Fund, Named Scholarships and Bursaries can be established by anyone who would like to make an instant impact for the student-athletes at Redeemer. Scholarship levels must not exceed the OCAA limits ($1,000-2,000 based on year of study for scholarships and $2,500 for bursaries) and usually requires a commitment of that gift for at least 5 years. To create a new Named Scholarship or Bursary contact Jeannette Lodewyks, Director, Financial Aid.
