ANCASTER, ON - Redeemer University's Men's Volleyball team is excited to announce the signing of 6'1 setter, Zach Brouwer, from Ingersoll, Ontario. A standout player from Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute, Zach also plays for the London Fire Volleyball Club 18u Heat.

Brouwer has been named MVP twice on his high school team and named to the Thames Valley Regional Athletic Association All-Star team, cementing his reputation as one of the top players in the area. His leadership and skills as a setter have earned him recognition, making him a highly anticipated addition to the Royals roster.

When asked what excites him most about joining Redeemer, Brouwer shared, "The thing that excites me the most about joining the Royals is being able to play the sport I love in a faith-based community. Also, the amount of school pride that I have seen students display at Redeemer is attractive." Brouwer refers to the nationwide reputation of crowd support from the RU Royal Family. Redeemer presents one of the loudest gyms in the country regularly at all Royals home matches.

As Zach begins his journey at Redeemer, he looks forward to growing both as an athlete and as an individual in an environment that values faith, community, and excellence. The Royals are excited to welcome Zach this fall.
