Brendan Vanderkruk, a second-year defender for the Redeemer Royals men's soccer team, delivered an outstanding performance on the back end. His solid play helped guide the Royals to a 1-1 record for the week.

Vanderkruk's defensive talent and leadership were evident in the team's 1-0 victory over Cambrian. Additionally, he showcased his versatility by contributing offensively, scoring his first goal of the season and the fourth of his career.
