Redeemer Royals Lifetime IMPACT Commitment

As a current or former student-athlete of Redeemer University, I recognize that my gifts, opportunities and platform through sport are entrusted to me by God. Whether I am actively competing as a current Royal or carrying the Royals legacy forward as an alumnus, I commit to living with a Vertical Purpose—glorifying Christ and using athletics and its lasting influence as a means of worship, witness and service.

I understand that being a Redeemer Royal is a lifelong identity that means more than chasing wins. It means reflecting the character of Christ in competition, in the classroom, in the workplace, within my family and church, and throughout my community.

Therefore, as a lifetime Royal, I commit to:

• Faith Integration: Allowing my relationship with Jesus Christ to shape how I train, compete, study, work, lead and live.
• Team Identity: Demonstrating humility, patience, integrity, perseverance, encouragement and love in my relationships with teammates, fellow alumni and others.
• Impact Goals: Using my influence to lead others closer to Christ through my words, actions, service and prayer.
• Personal Responsibility: Contributing my unique gifts and efforts to support the Royals community in a positive spirit, without grumbling and with Christian love.
• Vertical Purpose: Remembering that I live and serve for an Audience of One (Romans 12:1) and that sport is a platform for ministry, not an idol.
• Cultural Influence: Modeling Christ-like character to teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, fans, colleagues, family members and the broader community.
• Lifelong Connection: Supporting and strengthening Redeemer University and Royals Athletics while representing the university and its mission with integrity.

With God's help, I commit to pursuing these values of IMPACT throughout my life as a Redeemer Royal.

GO ROYALS!
