Dirk Van Soelen not only showed leadership on the field but also off the field by always bringing his best to practice as well as being one of the easiest players to coach, always bringing a positive attitude to every situation. On the field, Dirk brought a level of confidence with the ball unlike any other as he weaved through players making fantastic passes and even scoring a few goals. Dirk just seemed to know exactly what to do when he had the ball on his foot and alot of the teams success at the Regional Championships was due to Dirk's play.
