Julie Koopmans has picked up where she left off in 2011-2012. In her first two races of the 2012-2013 season, Julie has helped propel the Royals to podium finishes at both meets.

Julie finished in 8th overall at the Seneca Invitational on September 29th securing the Royals a 1st place team finish. It was the teams first Invitational Championship in recent history.

At the Fanshawe Invitational, Julie crossed the line in 14th place overall in a time of 21:31. Again, the Royals hit the podium with a 3rd place team finish.

With the early success, the Royals are now a legitimate contender for a medal at the OCAA Provincial Championships at the end of October. The team is also ranked #13 in the latest National Rankings!
