In her final year as a Royal, Morissa Lychak is arguably having her best season. The month of January was especially good for Lychak as she put up very consistent numbers across the board in the 4 league games played.
The Royals went 1-3 in January as they faced a very difficult stretch of games with matches against Algoma University, Humber College, and Sheridan College. Despite the tough oppenents, Lychak was able to put up great numbers.
Morrisa averaged 15.3 points per game in January to go along with 10.5 rebounds per game. Her biggest game of the month came in a win against Sault College when Lychak was virtually unstoppable, scoring 23 points and adding 15 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block.
Morrisa currently sits in 6th place in the entire OCAA with 130 rebounds on the season.
