The Redeemer Royals surged through the month of January with a perfect record at home and a 6-1 record overall.

A large part of their success can be contributed to Royals starting middle Charlene DeVries. An offensive and defensive powerhouse at the net, DeVries put up double digit points for Redeemer in 4 out of the 6 games in January.

What's most impressive about Charlene's strong January is her efficiency. Rarely making an error, DeVries is among the leaders in the OCAA in Kills per Attack.

DeVries will be an instrumental part of the team heading into a playoff match this weekend and potentially a Provincial Championship run February 20-22.
