October 2017 Female Athlete of the Month
If October was any indication of what's to come this regular season, OCAA Women's Basketball teams better prepare for Jessica Bosma.
Bosma beat up on the Durham Lords in a preseason match with 32 points and 21 rebounds in a 81-77 victory.Â
Redeemer then hosted the Georgian Grizzlies on October 3, where Bosma once again scored 32 points and controlled the boards on the defensive end.Â
Jess followed up with 2 strong games at the Loyalist Lancers tournament October 13th-14th. In a win against Sherbrooke 103-78, Bosma had 25 points. In their next match against Loyalist, a 17 point win, she contributed 24 points and 11 rebounds.Â
In their only league game in October, the teams season opener, Bosma had 26 points against rival Mohawk.Â
