Redeemer University Athletics

Julie Koopmans has been the Redeemer Royals top female runner for the team this season. The 2011 OCAA Provincial Championships were no different. The women's 5km race was comprised of a strong field of 68 runners and first year athlete Julie Koopmans led the Royals.  Koopmans was 16th overall and ran a strong race from start to finish.  She completed the course with a time of 21:15 which was over a minute better than her 22:31 at the start of the year on a much easier Fanshawe course.
