The Men's Basketball team extended their win streak to 5 games on Thursday night as the Royals defeated the Niagara Knights 73-63. Redeemer fell behind early in the first quarter but battled back throughout the match, finally taking the lead in the third on their way to another first semester win. 

The team will now enter the Christmas break riding 5 straight wins and boasting a 5-4 record after starting the season 0-4.

Redeemer has not lost since the 2nd week of November.

Calvin Turnbull (Burlington, ON) notched another double-double in the win on Thursday night with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Not to be outdone, Josh de Schiffert (Strathroy, ON) added a double-double of his own with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Royals have a number of exhibition games scheduled over the holiday break but do not get back to league play until January 9th when Redeemer will look to sweep the season series with the Sheridan Bruins.
