Box Score Everytime the Redeemer Royals and Mohawk Mountaineers men's volleyball teams meet, despite their rankings, season stats, or records, it is a battle! Tuesday night was another chapter in what is becoming one of the top rivalries in the OCAA. Another instant classic in Redeemers gym, the Royals defeated the undefeated Mohawk Mountaineers 3-2.

With the win, Redeemer wins their 5th in a row and runs their record to 6-1. Mohawk falls to 7-1 after 7 straight wins to start the season. 

Coming into the contest, Redeemer was ranked Nationally at #14 and Provincially at #5 while the Mountaineers held top stop in Ontario and the #3 spot Nationally. 

The Royals took a commanding 2-0 lead after a 30-28 win in the 1st and a dominating 25-15 win in the 2nd. Redeemer had a chance to close out the match in the 3rd but the pesky Mountaineers rallied and forced a 4th and then a 5th set. 

Redeemer put together their own rally in the 5th after being down 9-6. Redeemer took the final set 15-12.

Not to be outdone, the Lady Royals notched their 4th win of the season with a 3-0 win in the women's match.
