Redeemer's Men's Volleyball team is off to the 2018 OCAA Men's Volleyball Championship. The Royals booked their ticket this afternoon when they defeated the La Cite Coyotes in the OCAA Crossover Playoff. 

The Saturday afternoon matchup featured the #3 ranked team in the West (Redeemer) and the #6 ranked team from the East (La Cite). 

Redeemer had little trouble with the visitors, winning 25-14, 25-15, and 25-22 for a 3-0 sweep. 

Mitch Harris led Redeemer with 12 Kills, while Linden Bontkes had 11 and Brady De Boer added 8. 

Pearson Stiller had a game high 41 assists. 

With the win, Redeemer advances to the Championship hosted by the Georgian Grizzlies. The Royals will travel to Barrie on Wednesday February 21st and prepare for their quarterfinal matchup on Thursday afternoon at 1pm. Their opponent will be the winner of the Playoff Crossover match between the Sheridan Bruins and the George Brown Huskies.
