The Redeemer Royals Men's Basketball team returned home Tuesday night for an early week matchup against the Conestoga Condors. Fresh off their win against the Mountaineers on Friday night, Redeemer was looking to stay undefeated on the young season.
A dominant 3rd quarter saw the Royals put up 40 points to Conestoga's 16. The strong quarter was enough for Redeemer as they cruised to a 95-85 victory.
The win for the Royals was their third straight to start the season.
Foster Brown had a game-high 26 points including 9 points in the 3rd quarter. Redeemer had balanced scoring in the match as 10 Royals got on the board.
Avery Sutton had 25 points for the Condors in the loss.
Next up the Royals will host the Lambton Lions Friday night, searching for their 4th straight win. The Lions will be a stiff test for the home team, sporting a 3-1 record. Lambton is also the host of the 2020 OCAA Men's Basketball Championships. Tip-off is at 8pm.
