Balanced offense leads Royals men’s soccer to 5-0 victory
Hamilton ON – The Redeemer University men's soccer team (1-1-0 OCAA) defeated the Mohawk Mountaineers by the score of 5–0 Wednesday night at Tim Hortons Field.
Redeemer opened the scoring six minutes into the first half, as first year Derek Proulx (Burlington, ON) setup second year Gerrit Oldejans (Dundas, ON) for his first goal of the regular season.
In the 20th minute, Proulx added his second assist of the night as he found first year Rayan Barbosa (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) who beat Mountaineers goalkeeper Oliver Steinke.
