Royals men's basketball downs Surge 71-66
Ancaster, ON - The Redeemer men's basketball team opened 2023 with a 71-66 non conference victory over the St. Lawrence Surge Saturday afternoon at the Redeemer Athletic Centre.
The Royals had three players in double figures led by fourth year
Isaiah Brinkley (Rochester, NY) who finished with 18 points, including three clutch free throws to close out the game. First year
Parker Davis (Hamilton, ON) contributed with 15 points while second year
Robert Mannella (Burlington, ON) added 10 points, including three three-pointers.
The Royals open the second half of the OCAA regular season Wednesday, January 11th when they take on the Sheridan Bruins on the road.
