Redeemer women's volleyball places 4th at Durham Adidas Cup
OSHAWA, ON - The Redeemer University women's volleyball team opened 2023 with a fourth place finish at the Durham College Adidas Cup. They finished with an overall record of 3-2.
The Royals finished with a 3-1 record in the round robin with victories over Cambrian, CBU and Seneca. Their lone pool loss came against the host and eventual tournament champion Durham Lords.
In the bronze medal game, Redeemer dropped a 3-2 decision to the Niagara Knights. Â
Second year
Rachel Annett (Melbourne, ON) had an outstanding tournament and was named to the Adidas Cup All-Tournament Team.
The Royals open the second half of the OCAA regular season at home on Thursday January 12th at 6pm when they host crosstown rival Mohawk Mountaineers at the Redeemer Athletic Centre.
