Redeemer women's basketball rolls past Colts 99-59

ANCASTER, ON - The Redeemer University women's basketball team defeated the Centennial Colts by the score of 99-59 at the Redeemer Athletic Center Friday night.
Redeemer held a 17-12 lead after one quarter. In the second quarter, the Royals put together a large run including three straight three pointers from
Jessica Angelini to make it 41-28 at the half. In the second half, Redeemer's offense continued to roll as they outscored Centennial 58-31, on route to the 40-point home victory.
The Royals had four players reach double digits led by Angelini who finished with a game high 19 points including five 3-pointers .
Talia Vreugdenhil recorded 16 points while
Karyn TeBrake and
Steffanie Blair chipped in with 14 and 10 points. Rounding out the Redeemer scoring were

Hannah Bloemberg (7),
Sydney Drain (5) and
Bianca Baumgartner (3).
The Royals return to action Saturday afternoon versus Niagara County Community College. Tip-Off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m at the Redeemer Athletic Center.
