ROCHESTER, NY - The Redeemer University men's soccer team dropped a tough 4-1 decision to the Roberts Wesleyan RedHawks Saturday night in Rochester.
With the loss, the Royals finished the 2023 campaign one win shy of reaching the NCCAA National Championships for the first time.

The offensive minded Redhawks scored four goals in the final 40 minutes to defeat Redeemer 4-1 in the Midwest Region championship match to earn a berth in the National Christian College Athletic Association Division I National Championship in Kissimmee, Fla. Roberts finished second in the 2022 NCCAA Championships.

Matthew Derks recorded 11 saves while Roberts Caleb DaSilva collected four saves for the victory.
