ANCASTER, ON - The Redeemer University women's basketball team suffered a 94-33 loss to the Humber Hawks Wednesday night at the Redeemer Athletic Centre.
The Royals, who were missing half their roster to injuries battled hard the full 40 minutes but could not handle the Hawks offense led by Kia Watt who finished with a game high 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Humber also had three other players in double figures including Katherine Khorovets (14 points), Sidney Crawford (13 points) and Maezell Del Mundo (13 points).

Katie Lau who recorded 12 and 11 points respectively. Rookie
Daniella Zondag recorded a career high five points and 14 rebounds.
For the game, Redeemer shot 21.3% (13-61) from the field, 5.9% (1-17) from beyond the arc and 54.5% (6-11) from the free throw line. Humber went 36-78 (46.2%) from the floor, 13-30 (43.3%) from long range and 9-13 (69.2%) from the charity stripe.
Redeemer will be back in action again in the new year when they open the second half of the OCAA season against Humber January 13th on the road.
