Redeemer women's soccer drops 1-0 decision to Durham

ANCASTER, ON - The Redeemer University women's soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 decision to the Durham College Lords Saturday afternoon.
Durham scored the game's only goal 6:24 into the opening half as Erin Michalicka put a lead pass through to Sage Thomas-Roberts who slid it by Royals fifth year starting goalkeeperÂ

The Royals finished with 14 total shots, just five on goal, including one of the cross bar. Durham finished with nine shots, five on goal.
Brown registered four saves in the loss while Durham's two keepers combined for the five-shot shutout.
The Royals open the OCAA regular season next Saturday, Sept. 9 when they host the Humber Hawks at David Mantel Field.
