ANCASTER, ON. Redeemer Royals Cross-Country competed at the CCAA National Championships on Saturday afternoon. Two Royals runners qualified for the Championships being hosted by the St. Clair Saints.

Both Royals runners have been on the national stage before and looked to use their experience to help push them toward a championship. On the Men's side, Ethan Kruisselbrink placed 40th in the country. Kruisselbrink has had a phenomenal career as a Royal and has one final race later this month at the NCCAA National Championships. Kruisselbrink is currently the top-ranked runner for the NCCAA championships and has an excellent opportunity to win a national championship.

On the Women's side, Thea Van Halteren finished 41st in the country. Van Halteren also sits near the top of the rankings for the NCCAA National Championship later this month.

The full Redeemer team has qualified for the NCCAA Championships and will travel to Indiana later this month.
