Royals Drop Season Finale 77-61

ANCASTER,ON.   The Redeemer Royals drop their regular season finale 77-61 to the Saint Clair Saints. 

Jessica Angelini led the Royals in Saturday's clash with 14 points and 4 rebounds.  Following close behind Angelini was forward Mia Palango.  Palango recorded her 4th double-double in a row with 12 points and 11 rebounds. 

Despite the loss, the Royals have displayed that they can compete with the top teams in the conference. The closing weekend for the Royals saw them face the top two teams in the conference in Lambton and St.Clair. Redeemer will look to continue their strong showings as they enter playoffs.

The cross-over playoff match-up has yet to be finalized as of the conclusion of the Redeemer vs St.Clair match.  Final playoff seeding will be determined following the Fanshawe vs Mohawk match this evening. The Royals can jump to the sixth seed with a Mohawk victory. A sixth seed finished would see the Royals travel to George Brown, while a seventh seed finish would see the Royals travel to Georgian. 

OCAA Basketball playoffs begin next weekend.
