PORT HOPE, ON - The Redeemer Royals Disc Golf team turned in a historic performance at their regional qualifier for the College Disc Golf National Championships this past weekend. The event, hosted by Redeemer University in partnership with Haute Goat Disc Golf Course in Port Hope, Ontario, marked another milestone for the growing program, fielding two women's teams for the first time in program history.
In the singles portion, the Royals dominated the leaderboard, sweeping the top four spots in the Men's Division I. 
Kalan Schat led the way, followed closely by teammates 
Jake Voskamp, 
Jeremiah Della Foresta, and 
Adam Beatty. On the women's side, 
Leah Don claimed the Division I title with a strong and consistent showing.
The team portion of the event continued Redeemer's success. The top men's team captured both the Division I team title. 
Leah Don and Chiara Perron-Bouchard paired up to win the Women's Division title, while the second men's team of 
John Kok, Gabriel Della Foresta, 
Liam Schat and 
Seth Brouwer finished an impressive second in Division II, just two strokes off the lead.
With their performance, the Royals officially secured bids to the College Disc Golf National Championships in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The Men's Division I team will compete in the top division, while the second men's team has earned its place in Division II, marking another proud moment in Redeemer Disc Golf's rapid rise on the national stage.
