ANCASTER, ON - The Redeemer Royals Women's Volleyball program is excited to announce the signing of Laryssa Schipper, a middle from Mount Brydges, Ontario.
Schipper joins the Royals after a strong collegiate career with the Niagara College Knights, where she developed into a well-rounded and impactful presence at the net. During her time at Niagara, she earned OCAA All-Rookie honours and was part of a bronze medal-winning team in the 2024–25 season. She was also recognized for her excellence in the classroom as a 2024–25 OCAA All-Academic award recipient.
Prior to her collegiate career, Schipper competed with both the Forest City Volleyball Club and Woodstock Warriors Volleyball Club, building a solid foundation that has translated into success at the next level.
"I am excited to be a Royal because of the culture and atmosphere," said Schipper. "I am looking forward to continuing my academics as well as my volleyball career."
Schipper also shared how her faith will shape her experience at Redeemer, noting her desire to build meaningful relationships and positively impact those around her throughout her journey as a student-athlete.
The Royals are thrilled to welcome Laryssa to the program and look forward to the contributions she will make both on and off the court.
