What a start to the Redeemer running career of rookie Kyle Maerz. In his 2 races in October, Maerz crossed the line first for the Redeemer Royals. At the Seneca Invitational on October 4th, Maerz finished in 22nd place overall with a time of 31:35 in a large field of 102 participants. He followed that up with a 26th place finish at his first OCAA Championship on October 25th. The Championship field consisted of 122 runners. Kyle bettered his time at the Provincial Championships by a full minute completing the run in 30:35.
