Biography
Running in her second season with the Royals, Leah-Joy Gaensler will be looking to continue her success into the 2022 campaign.
An avid runner since elementary school, Gaensler has received the Coaches Award in High School, and participated in a 24-hour marathon. Last season she advanced to the XC national competition and added the OCAA All-Academic Award to her collection.
A health sciences major, Gaensler is passionate about serving her church and spending quality time with those close to her.
She is from Smith Falls, Ontario.
What is your favourite thing about running?
“I love to run because it puts me in a good mood and keeps me fit. I also love running because I have made many good friends through the teams I have been a part of.”
