Biography
Running both track and cross country since late in elementary school in his hometown of Keswick, Ontario, Nathan Reid-Welford has continued with cross country all throughout high school and University.
Along the way he has built a humble but accomplished resume, with one Regional Cross Country Qualification, multiple Regional Qualifications for the 800 metre, 1500 metre, and steeplechase track events, while earning one Cross Country MVP, and two track and field MVP’s during his secondary school campaign. In his first official season with the Royals, Reid-Welford finished within striking distance of national competition.
An English major, Reid-Welford is passionate about writing and music, playing guitar, and drums.
What is your favourite thing about running?
“With cross country you can be involved in a united team of runners and share community, but also have the ability to escape the world and clear your head.”
