Redeemer University Athletics

Walraven enters his third year of eligibility with the Royals. 

In the shortened 2021 season, he started in all five games for Redeemer adding three shots on goal. He was named the Royals team MVP in both field and indoor soccer. He also received the Royals Scholar Athlete of the Year Award.

As a rookie in 2019-20, Walraven attended Wilfrid Laurier where he started in nine of 14 games for the Golden Hawks (OUA), He registered three goals and one assist for four points.

High School: Walraven attended Kings Christian College in Burlington where he was a four-sport athlete playing soccer, volleyball, ultimate frisbee and badminton. In his senior year he was named Valedictorian and Male Athlete of the Year. He also received the Kings Christian Character Award.

Parents are Joy and James Walraven. His youngest sister Emily is a member of the Redeemer women's soccer team. James was a standout two-sport athlete at Redeemer from 1989-1994 and ranks third all-time in men’s soccer career scoring.
