What made you begin playing your sport? How old were you?
 I began playing my sport around grade 5, that was because some of my family members had been playing at a high level and it just seemed really fun so I gave it a try and it just kinda blossomed from then.

Who is the most influential person in your life?
My dad. 

What is the most important lesson you have learned from being a student-athlete at Redeemer University? 
The most important lesson I have learned at Redeemer is to be patient and be consistent, on and off the court

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 
I like to listen to music and close my eyes before a game and visualize scenarios of the game, and also tape my wrist and write something that I can look at during the game to refocus and remember why I am playing like a bible verse, quote, or "curt" in memory of a family friend. 

Favorite meal? 
Steak, Caesar salad and corn on the cob

What would people be surprised to learn about you? 
 I think that people would be surprised to hear that I can do a cartwheel. 

What is your favorite movie? 
The Pursuit of Happyness 

What is something on your bucket list?
Something that has always been on my bucket list is visiting Curacao, a little dutch Island in the Caribbean. It was in a book that I read in grade 4 and I am fully Dutch, so it has been a dream of mine to do so for many years.  

If you were singing at a karaoke night, what song would you sing? 
 I would sing "Somewhere over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

If you could meet any person, dead or alive, who would it be? Why? 
I would probably like to meet Tiger Woods, talk about the high and lows of his career and how he dealt with such adversity.
