What made you begin playing your sport? How old were you?
My friend group from church and school played basketball so I decided to play for fun and then I got into rep. I started in grade 6

Mom and Dad

What is the most important lesson you have learned from being a student-athlete at Redeemer University?
Oh boy, I have learned a lot but I’ll keep it short. From my university experiences I have learned a lot about the importance of being intentional with your short life. Growth is produced through challenge, change and struggle. I’ve learned that at the end of the day, grades, athleticism, achievements and earthly riches are not part of your identity, yet your identity lies in Christ. 

Do you have any pre game rituals?
Pregame snack involving some kind of fruit, listen to music, nervous pee, try to visualize plays and possibilities

Favorite meal?
Honey garlic boneless bites or wings

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I have ADHD what was the question again? People would be surprised that I’m not Dutch

What is your favorite movie?
I’m narrowing it down to any marvel movie 

What is something on your bucket list?
To travel a lot, visit as many countries as I can

If you could meet any person, dead or alive, who would it be? Why? 
Leonardo DiCaprio because he’s one of my favourite actors
