Matt Hahn

Matthew Hahn was named head coach of the men’s soccer program in 2022 and is now in his fourth season leading
the team.

Since taking over, Hahn has steadily elevated the program’s competitiveness within both the OCAA and the
NCCAA. In his first year, he guided the team to a 7-6-2 record and helped the program reach the playoffs for the
first time in several seasons. Under his leadership, the team has qualified for postseason play every year and
recorded winning records in two of his first three campaigns. In 2023, the team made history by securing its
first-ever victory in the NCCAA regional competition.

Hahn has also played a pivotal role in individual player development, having coached a first-team NCCAA
All-Region selection and several student-athletes who earned second-team honors in both the OCAA and NCCAA.

Before his current collegiate role, Hahn enjoyed a decorated youth coaching career with NOTL SC and NRSP, where
he guided teams to multiple Ontario Cup titles, league cup championships, league championships, and tournament
victories across North America.

He holds a Provincial Licence and multiple NCCP coaching diplomas and continues to bring a player-centered,
development-focused approach to every level he coaches.
