The Royals men had two top 25 finishes and placed 6th overall as a team at the 2022 OCAA Cross Country Championships in Thunder Bay. In his first appearance at the provincials, Kruisselbrink was the Royals top finisher placing 13th overall in a time of 28:44.62. For his performance he was named to the OCAA All-Ontario Second-Team. He was the Royals top finisher all four races this fall
