Curtiss Straatsma has been named the Redeemer Royals Female Athlete of the Month for November. Curtiss led the Royals to a 4-4 record over the month of November.

Straatsma had a number of big games over the course of the month but none was bigger than Redeemer's match against Niagara on November 30th. The Royals won in 5 games and Curtiss had a game-high 23 total points. She had 18 kills and 16 digs in the match.

Statistically, Curtiss is near the top in the OCAA in almost every category. She sits in 3rd in points per game, 3rd in total kills, 3rd in blocks, and 2nd in total points. Curtiss also sat in 9th place in Canada in kills per game.

Curtiss Straatsma had 10 points or more in every single one of the 8 matches that the Royals played in November. Not only does she lead the team in stats but she is also a vocal leader on the court.
