It was an incredible month for the Men's Volleyball team and leading the way was middle Aaron Vander Lugt. Aaron saved his best volleyball for the end of the season as he was a dominant force in the OCAA Provincial Championships leading the Men's team to a bronze medal.

Vander Lugt put up double digit points in all 4 matches at the Championships. He recorded 17 points in the opening match against Mohawk College, 16 points in the bronze quarterfinal against Sheridan College, and 10 points in the bronze semifinal match against Humber College.

However, Aaron saved his best match for the bronze medal game when he put up 18 total points including a remarkable 7 blocks as the Royals claimed the bronze medal against the Niagara Knights.
