It was the start the Royals were looking for on Tuesday night as Redeemer's volleyball teams opened up the OCAA season. Redeemer traveled to Conestoga College in the first official match of the 2014-2015 volleyball season. Redeemer outlasted the Condors 3-1 in both contests to capture their first wins of the season.

The Men's team defeated Conestoga 25-18, 25-13, 18-25, and 25-17. For the Royals, all players saw game action and 9 individuals scored at least 1 kill. Eric Heidbuurt (Waterdown, ON) led the team with 13 kills and 3 aces. Shawn Brus (London, ON) added 7 kills, and 1 block. Redeemer's Jake Klassen (Surrey, BC) had 27 assists.

The Royals are on the road again Saturday at Sheridan College before returning home for their opener on October 31st.
