A wild weekend finishes up as the Redeemer Royals varsity programs were busy across the province on both Friday and Saturday. Highlights from the weekend saw the Men's Soccer team clinch a playoff spot with a 1-1 draw against Conestoga College and the Nationally Ranked Women's Cross Country team land on the podium at the Seneca Invitational finishing in 2nd spot.

A late goal by the Conestoga Condors secured a tie for the visiting team as the Royals finished up their 2014-2015 season on Saturday. In a well played game for the Royals,
Meaghan Rudd (Cambridge, ON) scored the lone goal for Redeemer on a PK in the 53rd minute.

The Royals are playoff bound after securing a much needed point against the Condors on Saturday. Redeemer needed a point to clinch a trip to the next round and got it after a goal by
Josh Elgeti (Peterborough, ON) in the 45th minute. The Royals will have to wait to see where they play next weekend in the OCAA Playoff Qualifying match.
Women's Cross Country2nd Place
The Lady Royals found the podium for the 2nd weekend in a row on Saturday as they claimed 2nd place at the Seneca College Invitational. The Royals ran a very strong race with Redeemer's
Adrianna So (Toronto, ON) finishing in an impressive 8th place out of 74 runners. Next up for the Royals is the OCAA Provincial Championships also being held at Seneca College.
Men's Cross Country10th Place
The Royals ran a strong race on Saturday at the Seneca Invitational finishing in 10th place in a huge field of 102 runners. 1st year
Kyle Maerz (Chatham, ON) clocked in in an impressive 23rd place in the race. Next up for the Royals is the OCAA Provincial Championships.
Women's Volleyball5th Place
The Redeemer Royals finished up their first exhibition tournament of 2014-2015 with a 1-3 record at the Humber Cup. The Royals dropped matches to Mt. Saint Vincent (3-0), Canadore College (3-2), and Durham College (3-1), while grabbing a win against the Algonquin Thunder 3-1.
Men's Volleyball3rd/4th Place
The Men's Volleyball team opened up their 2014-2015 season at the Humber Cup on Friday and Saturday. The Royals finished day one with a 2-0 record with victories against George Brown (3-2), and Canadore (3-0) but fell to Durham College on Saturday 3-1. At press time, Redeemer was down 1-0 against Canadore College in the bronze medal match.
