4 Goals in Final Minutes Spurs Late Comeback for Royals

Redeemer sweeps season series with Lambton Lions

It likely was not how Coach Grootenboer drew it up, but an effective final 20 minutes on Saturday gave the Redeemer Royals men's soccer team a much needed 5-3 win over the Lambton Lions. After falling behind 3-1, Redeemer scored 4 unanswered goals late in the second half to secure the season series win against the Lions in Sarnia.

Redeemer's Lewis Tuininga netted a hat-trick for the Royals while rookies Noah Murray and Jonathan Pereboom also found the back of the net.

After pulling out a dramatic 2-1 win against Lambton in the home opener on September 12th, Redeemer found themselves once again needing to rely on a late surge to grab themselves valuable points on the road.

With the win, Redeemer improves their record to 2-1.

The Royals return to the confines of their home field for their next league match on Saturday September 26th against St. Clair.
