After a dominating win on Friday night against the Boreal Vipers, inconsistent play on Saturday hurt the Royals in a loss against the Cambrian Golden Shield. After sweeping Boreal 3-0 on Friday night, the Royals went the distance against Cambrian in a 5-set loss.

Rebekah Nash (9 kills, 4 aces) helped the Royals keep pace with the visitors. Game scores were 25-19, 22-25, 25-17, 16-25, 15-10. Redeemer held a 6-1 lead in the 5th set but struggled to close.
