The Redeemer Royals needed some late heroics on Tuesday night to grab a valuable win from their Hamilton rivals 2-1. After a steady flow of attack for the Royals in the 2nd half, Redeemer finally broke through with two goals (77', 85') to send the Mountaineers home without a point.
For Redeemer, it was their 2nd consecutive game with a pair of late goals. Last week, the Royals netted two late to tie the Fanshawe Falcons while Tuesday's night's goals secured the win against Mohawk.
Ryley Cribbin and
Enzo Guerra had the goals for the Royals while Justin Dargue converted on a penalty kick for the Mountaineers.
After 3 games the Royals now sit at 1-1-1.
Redeemer travels to Fanshawe College on Saturday for their away match against the Falcons. Game time is 2pm.
