WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL BACK IN WIN COLUMN AFTER ROAD WIN VERSUS CONDORS

Redeemer defeats the Conestoga Condors 3-1

After a pair of back-to-back losses, the Redeemer Women's Volleyball team is back in the win column. Redeemer traveled to Kitchener, Ontario on Saturday for an afternoon matchup against the Conestoga Condors.

The Royals took the first two sets of the match 25-18 and 25-16, before the hometown Condors made things interesting, taking the 3rd set 25-23. The Royals stormed right back however, dominating the 4th set, 25-13, and winning the match 3-1.

The Royals record improves to 7-7 on the season while the Condors fall to 2-11.

Three Royals hit double-digit points on Saturday with Abby Sluys leading the way. Sluys had a game-high 16 points from 14 Kills and 2 Aces. Jasmyn Stoffers and Alena Reenders added 14 and 11 points respectively.

Redeemer will now prepare for Friday night when they host the Mohawk Mountaineers. The Mountaineers enter the match with an 8-6 record, just two points ahead of the Royals. In their only other meeting this season, Mohawk defeated Redeemer 3-0 on Saturday October 26th.
