zaccollinsWINDSOR, ON - The Redeemer University men's soccer team (5-3-2 overall, 4-3-2 OCAA) played to a 2-2 draw against the St. Clair Saints Friday night on the road.

The Royals offense was led by first year Rayan Barbosa (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) who registered his fifth goal of the season and Zac Collins who registered his first goal of the campaign.

In goal, graduating senior Mateo Sutic (Mississauga, ON) registered nine saves for the victory.

"The boys played really well and showed a lot of heart," said first year head coach Matt Hahn. "Tonight showed us they have the fight and belief it takes to compete in the playoffs.  Our goal is to always get all three points but we knew one would also be great and go a long way to the standings and we are very happy to get that point.  They travelled and got the job done."

The Royals close out the OCAA regular season on Saturday, October 15th when they take on the Lambton Lions on the road.
