MEN'S VOLLEYBALL HEADED TO QUARTER-FINALS

The Royals hosted the Knights Thursday night in a winner-take-all round 1 playoff match. Redeemer advances to the quarter-finals on Saturday, March 12 at 3 pm. Their quarterfinal opponent will be the #3 East ranked Algonquin Thunder. 

Redeemer entered the match as the #2 ranked team in the West Division while the Knights came in at #7 in the West. Very little separated both teams Saturday night in an epic battle.

The set scores were 25-19, 23-25, 20-25, 25-8, and 14-11. 

Redeemer's Brett Jenkins led the Royals with 16 Kills. Brayden Stoffers added 14 Kills. Jason Wildeboer had 6 aces, 5 blocks and 50 assists. Niagara countered with 12 kills and 2 aces from Ashton Nieuwets. 

The Royals will host their quarter-final match-up against the Algonquin Thunder on Saturday, March 12 at 3 pm.COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted and Redeemer University will be allowing outside spectators. All spectators will be asked to complete a verbal screening at the door and are required to wear a mask.
