DAY 1 CCAA MEN'S VOLLEYBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP

Royals fall to Camosun Chargers on Day 1 of CCAA Men's Volleyball action.

For the first time in program history, the Men's Volleyball program took the court in the CCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship, being hosted this year by Cegep Limoilou in Quebec City, QC. Redeemer faced off against the No. 1 seed from the PACWEST conference, the Camosun Chargers.

Redeemer did not open their CCAA Championship run the way they had hoped. The Royals fell 0-3 to the Chargers in their quarter-final game. Despite the 3 set score, the Royals competed back-and-forth with the Chargers for the duration. Set scores were 15-25, 22-25, 23-25.

The Royals will still remain in the hunt for a bronze medal. Redeemer will play their bronze quarter-final game tomorrow at 1:00 pm against the loser of the match-up between the St. Thomas Tommies and Geants de Saint-John.
