Welland, ON - The Redeemer University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to the Niagara College Knights Saturday afternoon on the road (25-20, 25-18, 25-14).
The Royals were led by second year
Rachel Annett (Melbourne, ON) who added four kills and seven digs and first year
Avery Surette (Barrie, ON) who chipped in with two kills and two digs.
Leading the Niagara offense was Natasha Desjardins who recorded nine kills and eight digs. Madelyn Berg finished with a match high 17 digs in the victory.
For the match, Redeemer registered a season low eight kills with seven errors on 64 attempts for a .016 hitting percentage. The Knights hit .269 finishing with 29 kills and 11 errors on 67 attempts.
The Royals next action is next weekend January 20th and 21st when they host the Cambrian Golden Shield on Friday and Boreal Vipers on the Saturday at the Redeemer Athletic Centre.
