WINDSOR, ON - The Redeemer University women's volleyball team were blanked 3-0 against the St. Clair Saints on the road Friday night. With the loss, the Royals record falls to 7-7 in the OCAA West Division.
The Royals were led by second year
Rachel Annett (Melbourne, ON) who added nine kills and eight digs. First year
Avery Surette (Barrie, ON) collected four kills and a season high 14 digs. First year
Kate DeJong (St. Thomas, ON) added five kills while second year
Alyson Stolte (Smithers, BC) chipped in with four kills, including a .571 hitting percentage. Third year libero
Erica Bultje (Chatham, ON) collected 10 digs in the loss.
St. Clair was led by Kiana Huggins who led all scorers with 12 kills. Libero Emma Clements recorded 11 digs in the victory.
The Royals recorded just 27 kills while making 10 errors on 84 attempts. They finished with a .202 hitting percentage. St. Clair registered 30 kills with nine errors on 94 attempts for a .223 hitting efficiency.
Redeemer returns to action Saturday afternoon as they take on the Fanshawe Falcons 1pm on the road.
