Redeemer men's soccer drops 3-0 decision to Fanshawe

LONDON, ON - The Redeemer University men's soccer team ended the OCAA regular season with a 3-0 loss to the Fanshawe Falcons Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Royals finish in sixth place in the OCAA West Division and have earned a playoff berth.

Fanshawe, who placed 4th overall in the OCAA West Division, got all three of their goals in the opening half Saturday with tallies from Bilal El Said (24'), Kyle Cameron (36') and Zachary Parent (44').

In goal, Redeemer senior Adam Katenberg registered seven saves in the loss. Fanshawe's Cameron Lacroix and Dylan DaSilva combined for the shutout.

The Royals will open the 2023 OCAA Men's Soccer playoffs with a first round matchup on the road versus he No. 3 seeded St. Clair Saints Wednesday, October 18th.
