Ancaster, ON - The Redeemer University men's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to the No. 5 nationally ranked the Conestoga Condors Tuesday night at David Mantel Field. With the loss, the Royals fall to 2-5 in the OCAA West.
Early in the contest, Redeemrer had two key scoring chances but were unable to capitalize. Conestoga opened the scoring in the 39th minute on a goal from Gamtessa Berehe. The Condors held a 1-0 lead at the half.
In the second half, the Condors used their speed up front and were able to capitalize adding three more goals, with two from Jackson Kruse and one from Ricardo Alvarado. Conestoga improves to 7-0 on the season.

Matthew Derks recorded six saves in the loss. Conestoga starter Michael D'Angelo added four saves for the shutout.
The Royals return to action on Saturday, October 7th when they travel down the QEW to take on the Niagara College Knights.
