Sarnia, ON - The Redeemer University men's basketball team dropped a close 90-84 decision to the Lambton Lions on the road Saturday. With the loss, their record drops to 4-13.
Leading the Royals scoring was First year
Parker Davis (Hamilton, ON) who recorded 17 points, including 3-for-7 from beyond the arc. Fourth year
Isaiah Brinkley (Rochester, NY) added 16 points, seven assists and five rebounds while fifth year
Blake Anderson (Hamilton, ON) added 11 points. Second year
Robert Mannella (Burlington, ON) and third year
Kian Durno (Georgetown, ON) chipped in with nine and eight points respectively.
As a team, Redeemer shot 41.9 (31-74) from the field, 38.9% (14-36) from beyond the arc, and 80.0% (8-10) from the free throw line. Lamnbton went 34-68 (50.0%) from the field, 8-27 (29.6%) from three point land and 14-21 (66.7%) from the charity stripe.
The Royals close out the OCAA regular season at home Wednesday, February 15th at 8pm when they host the Mohawk Mountaineers at 8pm.
